Bluboo, just one out many Chinese phone manufacturer out there, have started a campaign at Banggood, when I first notice it, to promote its latest product, the Bluboo Edge, by presale. Based on the description, taken from Banggood, AliExpress and its official website, the price USD129.99, that’s $10 less than retail price? One of the official retailers, state that the price is USD119.99 for the AliExpress Campaign.

Let’s Talk About The Beauty

When I first saw the campaign on Banggood, I think that I need to research this company. I kind of like the official website, basically it has a forum for the user. With so many manufacturers out there, some of the phone does not get support like they are supposed, like software updates. So far I think Bluboo is ok la, not much problem.

So, come to the beauty, I think this phone beautifully design, with curved edges on both sides, back and front. I think this phone a beauty, just looking at the design with all the curve. Most phones like Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and Xiaomi Mi Note 2 have curved display, but the Edge from Bluboo is just a beauty. With the curvy display, it’s basically bezel-less display.

Built-in Heart Rate Sensor

This is another feature that I like about this phone. Built-in heart rate means that I do not have to wear extra devices, especially when I’m currently watching my health, well just to stay fit. In the introductory video, it shows that there is an extra sensor at the back of the phone. The user just needs to touch Bluboo Edge will do the rest.

The Pros

Apart from the dual curved body and heart rate sensor built-in, the phone comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection and support expandable TF  card for up to 256GB. The curved display survived a heavy steel ball test that is dropped from 20cm height multiple times, here is the video. The Bluboo Edge also comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It also comes with Intelligent Front Touch ID, that allows users to unlock their phone from the home button.

The Cons

For such a beauty, the phone is short of memory and storage. With just 2GB RAM and 16GB storage, explains why the pre-order campaign highlights the dual curvy design, built-in heart rate sensor and 13MP rear camera and 8MP back camera from Sony.
