This domain was first registered on October 28th, 2012, which is now 3 years and 0.4. Ever since it was registered, I think this is the third time I change the registrar and the fourth time the hosting provider changes. There’s a quote about change that I like to share, that sound like:
“Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything.”
George Bernard Shaw
In order to progress ahead, sometimes change is something that we all need.
The very first time this domain registered is with Fatcow. At that time Fatcow was offering a very heavily reduced price at 75% off of its original 1 year shared hosting plan. The plan comes with free 1 domain name for a year. Soon I realize that my blog needed to change, so I decided to change its hosting provider as well as the registrar.
A year later, after the Fatcow hosting plan expired, this blog was moved to GoDaddy. GoDaddy gives 1 year hosting as well as 1 free domain. I registered 2 domain names with GoDaddy, the first one was free with the hosting plan and the second one is this one.
After a year’s time, the hosting plan expired, so as the first domain names, I decided not to extend the hosting plan and not to register the domain name. At that point, this domain name still alive, so I change the hosting plan to a new hosting provider. A free one.
A year passed by, which is the present, I decided to change again. Now I’m using Namecheap for both hosting and domain names registrar. This hosting plan from Namecheap, which is now I’m using, lets its users to register up to three domain names. I think this hosting plan is the best that I’ve ever buy.
